What is paid time off like at DXC Technology?

Pros

Work from home policy, flexible work scheduled, and direct managers treat workers like human beings.

Cons

No raises, no bonuses, no earned vacation time, mismanaged commuter and FSA benefits, incompetent internal IT help desk, huge insurance deductibles, no technology refresh program for employees.

Advice to Management

Start giving cost-of-living pay increases and bonuses again before you lose all of your skilled people. Within two years, I predict that DXC will become the new Xerox/ACS.

No raises, no bonuses, no earned vacation time, mismanaged commuter and FSA benefits, incompetent internal IT help desk, huge insurance deductibles, no technology refresh program for employees.

Does DXC Technology offer family leave?

Pros

It's a big company, so there's a lot of room to change roles, but why would you want to do that here?

Cons

Our benefits took a plunge when we were bought out by DXC technology. Medical premiums are through the roof. There are no bonuses and no raises. They don't do anything good for the employees. Once in a while the old company, Tribridge, would buy us lunch or do something nice for it's employees by having an outing. Everything is gone with DXC and the culture reflects that the company doesn't care about its employees. There isn't even any paid maternity leave. This is a basic thing in tech, financial services, etc. I look at this as more of a reflection on the company's values and speaks to the culture of just not even pretending to care about employees. Obviously, large companies don't care, but at least they usually do things to pretend to show like they care.

Advice to Management

You will never retain good talent with awful benefits, no compensation changes, and no bonuses.

There isn't even any paid maternity leave.

Does DXC Technology have a pension plan?

Pros

Usual employee benefits plus working from home. Employee Assistance Programme.

Cons

New strategy means you have to comply and attend training/certifications mandated by them or leave. New pension scheme far less beneficial than previous. Constant work force reduction programmes. Expected to work whatever hours required, bonus scheme reduced.

Advice to Management

Really look at initiatives to keep staff motivated during all these changes, consider that not all want to become technologists and have other skills/expertise to offer.

New pension scheme far less beneficial than previous.
