      Pros

The Pros of being a Doordash delivery driver is made up of 3 pyramid levels Silver is your first 49 orders. Once you reach 50, you get gold status. And once you reach 100 delievers you become platinum which is the echelon and you get to enjoy all levels benefits. You rank up and unlock perks, benefits, and working at your own rate climbing the ranks of silver gold and platinum, once you reach 100 delieveries you are platinum and all perks are unlocked and pertain to you. Keeping your rank once you obtain it is not hard as long as you follow along keeping up with a high completion and acceptance rate. You can use and enjoy the luxuries of all the benefits once you're platinum and as long as you keep up with the rules and regulations, and provide 100 % work ethic taking your time to pick which delievery is profitable, which one makes sense when it comes to gas, and once you get to 50 orders you are Gold level which is increased priority for high paying offers. Gold also includes all of Silver rewards. The more time you spend delivering the higher your payouts are. More pay, no scheduling, first come, large orders, and each of the 10 perks that benefit you, you get to keep and they all belong to you and youre eligible for silver gold and platinum benefits while delivering. I'm the highest tier being the third level which is platinum, and with all of the tiers and benefits enabled and access to every perk, Your income increases and multiple orders at the same time ckme up more often. There's many perspectives from the point of view of every driver. I have only been employed for 2 weeks and I have been working as a delivery driver in the Shelton Washington area. What I have encountered is that the first week you want to build up a lot of little orders to boost your numbers. The more deliveries you complete, the more benefits and perks you unlock to help you tremendously. The completion rate, and acceptance rate are two vital aspects of delivering you are going to want to make sure you are devoted to keeping a perfect score across the board with shopping being another important vital part. Always make sure you find the original right item, or make sure a substitution is made because you get knocked for not finding objects due to empty shelfs.

      Cons

The cons are sometimes you never know if offers are going to be busy or slow and you can have Karen or old ladies ruin your hard work perfect feedback and positive feedback.

      Pros

Flexible Schedule: You can choose your own hours, which is great for fitting work around other commitments. Quick Payouts: DoorDash offers the option to cash out daily, which helps with managing finances. Independence: As a freelance driver, you get to work independently without a boss looking over your shoulder. Easy to Get Started: The onboarding process is straightforward, allowing you to start earning quickly. Wide Coverage Area: DoorDash operates in many locations, increasing the chances of finding work in your area.

      Cons

Unpredictable Earnings: The pay can be inconsistent due to variable demand, tips, and base pay. Wear and Tear on Vehicle: Frequent driving can lead to increased maintenance costs and depreciation of your car. No Benefits: As a freelance driver, there are no health benefits, paid time off, or other traditional job perks. High Competition: In busy areas, there may be too many drivers, leading to fewer orders for each. Customer Ratings: Drivers are rated by customers, and lower ratings can negatively affect your ability to get orders.

      Pros

Good benefits, good pay, some gems for coworkers depending on your team

      Cons

Clear favorites / boys club - which dictates promotions and opportunities On Calls 9am-6pm, and have to do your day job at night No investment in training, coaching, etc Women have to work 2x as hard to still be overlooked vs their peers as most upper management is men and there is a clear boys club

      Pros

Working from home most days are nice. Good culture.

      Cons

We rarely get pay raises and it feels like we are underpaid for the work that we do. A lot of metrics to hit with no bonus incentives. Compared to other companies we are behind the 8 ball when it comes to benefits as far as tuition reimbursement.

      Pros

Initially offered remote, salary position with great benefits

      Cons

After a few months remote turned to hybrid, salary position became hourly with little to no opportunity for overtime and all benefits declined. Constant changes frustrating employees as well as customers, little to no communication between departments and MXP was the abyss for all merchant problems with no resolutions in sight

      Pros

Cross functional partners are very collaborative, work team is great, overall smart people are hired, good benefits, mission driven, good company values, learn lots of new skills, become a self starter to affect change

      Cons

Management is highly focused on growing top-line, operating cost centers must work more to support top line with no additional headcount/funds to support them, accounting functions overly burdened with manual work processes and broken systems/tools (and failed automation attempts) and poor upstream processes, software tools are not consistently used by all teams which causes challenges in working with data, lack of accounting leadership support to effectively perform in your role
