What is the application process like for Equifax?

      Equifax reviews

      Awful place with prehistoric practices

      Former contractor

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

None at all. I can assure you that.

      Cons

I have always seen job positions in this company but I have never applied directly because I have always heard bad things about them. Unfortunately for me, I ended up working here against my will through my main company, which was offering services to Equifax. - Be careful installing something "forbidden" in the laptop, even if it is a simple application, they take it as the most serious security threat in the universe and open a process for you. - You don't have access to apps or chats from your cell phone. You are condemned to be 100% on the laptop. - The QA area is boring as heck. They use old-fashioned and rigid methods. It takes 30 minutes just to add a couple of test cases to the tool. - The automation framework sucks. They use a framework that no one uses, stiff, horrible, zero flexibility, complicated to configure. Apart from the fact that the tool sucks, its repositories are poorly configured and badly done by their own QA's... - You need to stick with their processes/tools. Don't waste your time suggesting something new. - Even though I am a Senior SDET, I have to follow the orders and processes of an Intermediate person.
