Pros
Good benefits, you have the chance in Fidelity Consulting to learn from some really smart and strategic thinkers who have previous experience at the big 3 or big 4. more flexibility and better work life balance than external consulting. hybrid schedule (one week in person, one week remote). Highly subsidized (and delicious) cafeteria food on the first floor in 245 summer street office. Beneficial place to start out your career for someone strongly interested in financial services, but if you are just interested in strategy consulting but not sold on financial services, I would avoid this role or else you will probably be unfulfilled with project work entirely focused on financial services.
Cons
The organization has very fast turnover which means that a lot of the people in management level roles are new to their role and still in their adjustment phase themselves, so processes don't always feel very comfortable. You switch projects every few months or so and get staffed with new people which can be beneficial but also means that you need to adapt to different personality types and management styles. Some people like the office setup but I find it a little too corporate/ uncozy. That said, though, I think that I just prefer working in cozier spaces and for smaller companies. This job was not for me as if I'm going to concentrate on work for 40+ hours, it has to be on subject matter that I'm passionate about, and I just wasn't passionate about the projects we were working on (not to say they weren't important). I also prefer to work for longer durations of time on deliverables with fewer touch points, rather than connecting at least daily on different variations of the same deliverable, which is common practice in Fidelity Consulting.
