You have a lot of autonomy when contracting through them. You never hear from GK unless you missed a time sheet or it's benefits enrollment time. When they help you get a job (this is the recruiter), they help you get top dollar. There is a 401K after a year. If they like you, they'll help you get your next job.

Near impossible to correspond with Payroll/HR and you don't technically have a boss here. Your boss is via the company they have you contracted under. Benefits are as expensive as COBRA.

Non corporate structure. The construction teams in AEC have a great client base. Remote.

Long hours. It’s not uncommon to work 10+ hours a day. The amount of emails that come in is overwhelming considering 98% of them wont apply to you No structure. There are loose policies in place Don’t let them con you into the draw transition after a year. Unless you’re a successful 360 recruiter you’ll be making close to $40k a year. Benefits are expensive The Director level management team prides themselves on bait and switching recruiters from large agencies offering higher commission packages without mentioning that the only way to make any commission would be to be at that high level 360 role Management will also offer a 360 role and tell you once you start that you need to start at 180 first with no timeline for growth Only growth opportunities are to move into a sales role and eventually a “director” which is basically a AM role with a team.
