Pros
The clients and caregivers for the most part are genuinely good people. The caregivers care a lot about their clients.
Cons
No PTO for admins, they advertised PTO on recruitment sites and it even states in the employee handbook that PTO is offered however they give you some made up excuse as to why they aren't offering it. No room for growth within company (truth is: they will terminate you before you can advance). They uptalk about how much they care about people and their benefits package (truth is: you only get 401k after you have worked for the company for over a year). Management in Asheville NC and Hickory NC location is a joke. Same owners. Office environment is very toxic. The whole office is full of two faced people and they like to play the game of turning people against each other. Lots of gossiping and mind games. GMs are under the age of 30 with little to no experience. They like to hire young, unexperienced people so that they can make them their puppets and don't ask questions. Don't waste your time if you are a mature, experienced person. They don't care about what you have to bring to the table. Pay is horrible for caregivers. The weekly pay is only if you get a steady client, otherwise it breaks down to $10-15/hour (depending on the type of care and location, they pay you the minimum). Some shifts are only 4 hours long only and they make you drive across town just to take care of a client. After you put gas in your vehicle, all your money is gone. They don't care about their clients. I do not recommend using their services or working for these people. The owner and his son think they are better than everyone else, they will take your money and leave you with no care type of people. GM of Hickory makes a lot of unnecessary racial comments to POC in the office trying to "relate" to their culture.
