What is the salary like at Indeed?

Great benefits, supports work from home, awesome offices and very good pay. The mission that makes you proud to work there. Decent work life balance. Well known brand.

The senior leadership team is stacked with long timers who don't know how to evolve the business and have little to no experience outside of Indeed. They reject the ideas and suggestions of newer leaders from the outside, stifling innovation and sending people in circles. The core product performs horribly for both job seekers and employers and is not getting better. Politics, fear, empire building and subterfuge have replaced a once supportive and dynamic culture

Great people, great product, empowered teams, very good pay and benefits, free meals and snacks if you work in the office.

While I was working at Indeed the separate business unit silos were problematic - they had different review/reward criteria and no incentive to work together, creating a lot of duplicate work and inefficiencies. After multiple large layoffs, I have heard that Indeed has been re-organizing to address these problems. I enjoyed working at Indeed and overall recommend the company.

Good people - very smart people especially in the org I was in. Good benefits, and reasonable pay though most are around 60% of the high tech industry.

Business model in need of some serious work. Their Exec leadership seems confused about how to make money and grow the business when recruiting is down.

Leadership has become untrustworthy in the last few years, making poor decisions and bowing to pressure from the highest level to put out terrible products that have decreased the perception of the Indeed brand as a whole.
