Pros
Amazing benefits, educational resources, once you've worked for a while the PTO is great, detail-oriented people and hard workers can really stand out and shine here if you are committed to the mission
Cons
Large organization typical issues: silos, poor systems, and long-term employees with no motivation to work harder because they are 'in' can make it challenging to work/stay motivated. Talent acquisition is not well versed in some non-clinical specialties, and have a bizarre screening process that lets a lot of duds into the organization, who can be hard to get rid of. They also have a poorly designed 'Job family alignment' structure which doesn't allow you to advance within your department unless someone leaves a position. Opportunities for growth are usually available in outside departments, so you just torch all your accumulated expertise in your current area and have to re-start elsewhere if you want to advance.
