      Business Outlook

      Pros

Lockheed has great benefits including HSA, PTO, paid parental leave as well as allowances on PPE and other small perks that shows the company values you.

      Cons

The 4/10 shift can be difficult for some people to adjust to.

      LM to Infinity and Beyond

      Senior staff engineer
      Current employee
      Las Cruces, NM
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The salaries and competence of team mates is off the chart. They are an industry leader for a reason. Lots of advancement opportunities for those willing to learn and work hard. Also some of the best management you will find in any company.

      Cons

The benefits package, including leave and healthcare, are worse than most other companies. Senior employees start on the leave scale the same as people right out of school. High deductible health plans mean you will be paying a lot more out of pocket for healthcare.

Decent benefits overshadowed by unproductive colleagues

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

They have good benefits and some great people.

      Cons

Lack of communication among departments. Processes are not defined / maintained across the shifts. No accountability.

No Perks and RMS is Declining

      Project planning and control analyst
      Former employee
      Manassas, VA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good benefits, 4 x 10-hour days and every weekend is a 3-day weekend.

      Cons

Loss of contracts as well as some union labor and high costs make this division not competitive. Every year is a fiscal challenge to maintain versus growth environment. As a GovCon, no perks are allowed so plan to have limited amenities like free cafe, game rooms, etc.

      Okay for now

      Cyber software engineer
      Current employee
      Fort Worth, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexibility, good benefits, decent work for defense

      Cons

Doesn’t like to promote on schedule

      Great Company

      Systems engineer
      Current employee
      Charleston, SC
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great work life balance for employees

      Cons

Could offer a better paternity leave

Good pay and benefits, but slow advancement hurdles

      Senior project engineer
      Former employee
      Fort Worth, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Good pay, good benefits, high growth potential if you’re not afraid to put in the work

      Cons

HR will gate you if you are climbing too fast. “Must spend X more years before you’re eligible for the next level.” High level of bureaucracy on major programs of record, hard to move fast and get stuff done.

      2

      Great Place to Work

      Senior systems engineer
      Current employee
      Huntsville, AL
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Get to work with cutting edge technology - Good paternal leave - Great pay (once a week schedule) - Clear paths to promotion - Small tight knit teams (depending on program)

      Cons

      - Lean workforce, work load can be quite high - Buildings need renovation

Fine but defense work has challenges

      Ai/ml engineer
      Current employee
      King of Prussia, PA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

PTO, medical leave, and part time policies are great. You can drop down to 20 or 30 hours a week and still maintain your benefits.

      Cons

Government work is a pain, it comes with a lot of red tape. Depending on where in the company you work, you’ll be in a classified facility and have little to no opportunity for remote work. Health insurance isn’t great.
