      Cons

Toxic management, sometimes they cut hours, write you up for calling out for emergencies, leave a bad review of you by the end of the year like they did to me even though I work my butt off each year 2025

      Pros

      Can’t really think of any

      Cons

High turnover. The company doesn’t give many hours and the pay isn’t great. Because they don’t give many hours, most of the new hires don’t show up. The rest of the staff struggles to run the store. Everyone is basically “on call” you get maybe two days a week “on the schedule” and then they play the game of trying to get people to come in because everyone else is calling out or not showing up. Management makes good money and takes it easy, the people actually running the day to day operations are burnt out and stressed to the max. You know why there’s a long line at Marshall’s? Because they understaff the stores to “save money” The employees have to deal with all the upset customers, and when they complain, management blames the employees instead of blaming themselves for understanding the store. They allow the public to steal. It’s incredibly frustrating and confusing. You will literally get fired if you even make eye contact with a thief. People casually walk in, fill shopping carts with merchandise and casually walk out. They know the store employees are banned from stopping them. It’s insane. If you need a job to support yourself and your family, I wouldn’t suggest working for Marshalls. If you’re young and living with your parents, Marshalls may be ok for you. Otherwise, seek employment elsewhere. They make it seem so wonderful. It changes once you actually get hired. You’ve been warned!

      Pros

Nice coworkers and snacks, customers are ok, flexible hours

      Cons

Very overworked, you do a lot that probably should not be done by you, very bad pay (minimum), especially for all you do, very few hours, they only hire part-time to save as much money as possible, and very few coworkers; pushing the store card is your main responsibility and they will treat differently you based on how many you get. No benefits. All managers and coworkers were nice except for one, and that can make a difference
