Edmar Jimenez-Adarme, a Clinical Manager - Med-Surg at Memorial Hermann-Greater Heights, went through our Nurse Residency Program 6 years ago and saw a different side of med-surg than the one he had seen in nursing school. Collaborating as a team to improve the patient's stay at the hospital then seeing them get better is so rewarding." As a Med-Surg Nurse, you play a critical role in caring for the patient before and after surgery. During his nursing career, Edmar has worked in a couple different med-surg units including general surgery oncology and the cardiac unit.
