Full package benefits with a vehicle (can be used on and off work hours), provides a work phone and laptop, making my own schedule, paid for internet and other business expenses, overall travel was paid for (flights, tolls, gas, etc), an amazing team support, and being able to work from home from time to time.

Very high expectations, no work life balance, depending on your territory there is no work life balance, very demanding, managers play favorites, very long days, and no real structure in training.

Project leader role is a very dead end job, role is touted as very important but is nothing more than a babysitter to just communicate status and ensure things keep moving. Company has become very top heavy with roughly 200 vice presidents for 16k employees worldwide. Hires a lot of highly qualified people to start them in roles lower than what they were in.

The benefits and perks are very good. If you're in a good team the work can be very rewarding.

The culture used to be "work hard, play hard," but that's mostly been lost now. With company growth, success looks like "skip-level managers" who spend half their time in 1:1's and the other half on goals that are usually just taking credit for others' work.

Expectations are not aligned with reality. Brought in to change the way people thought about supply chain processes only to hit roadblock after roadblock. There was zero buy in or interest from internal or external departments. Certain leaders deliberately undermined ability to implement solutions. Resources were not made available to deliver and team was laid off entirely. They preach team mentality and working together, but everyone is busy being so “empowered & candid” that they only listen to their own voice. Obsessed with pushing Milwaukee way which doesn’t work for a company of their size. Trying to change someone’s mind is exhausting. Transparency was also preached, but non existent. Wasn’t even laid off by my actual boss, who continued to tell me I would be moving to a new team until the Friday afternoon before I was terminated. In the end they will tell you they care but it’s all about the bottom line and management making themselves look good at your expense. Team was an opportunity for boss to check of boxes in her reviews, not to grow and develop. Basically zero coaching during time there. Left to fend for self in hostile environment.
