Pros
Decent benefits (pretty standard package), unlimited sick days (within reason, of course). Generally, the people on my team are great people and hard workers. The work itself is quite interesting and a good challenge for those who like one.
Cons
The company makes millions but gave no salary increases this year and really low annual bonuses. We're told to shut off our lights for an hour on Earth day but make sure you're coming to the office and polluting the planet more. Pretty typical mentality for a corporation. Was a lot better when we were Solium and were a Canadian FinTech company. There's more red tape now at every level, but with good reason, just challenging to adapt to. Also, we're always short staffed, but aren't allowed to hire more staff, so the work load is just too much.
