Does NFL pay for a gym membership?

Pros

The NFL's summer intership program is truly one of the greatest experiences you could ever hope for as an undergraduate student looking to get into sports and/or media. Right off the bat, everyone at NFL Media was so helpful and caring, to the point where you could walk up to anyone inside or outside your department and they would stop whatever they were doing to help you out. The workplace environment is very social and casual, and was very comforting to any intern. Additionally, the internship program has interns directly influencing their department, as the creative freedom and impactful projects I had over the summer were way greater in scope than I could have ever imagined--and made me feel like I was a real, respected employee rather than just an intern. Overall, A+ experience, and a summer I will never forget.

Cons

There is no gym on campus. That is literally the only con I can come up with.

Advice to Management

Keep up the incredible work with this internship program

How are senior leaders perceived at NFL?

Pros

This program exceeds the typical internship experience – there are department presentations, opportunities for mentorship, social events for meeting other interns and employees, and managers who are genuinely invested in making sure interns get as much out of the experience as possible. My manager set aside time at multiple points throughout the summer to check in with my progress and goals, and she took many steps to help me accomplish those goals. I was also given tasks that made me feel like a significant contributor to our team and helped me foster a variety of skills to take with me in my future career. My team included me on meetings and calls, which gave me a better understanding of how different offices and departments work together. Everyone I reached out to was more than willing to take the time to meet with me, hear about my experience, and offer guidance.

Cons

I don't have any cons – I had a wonderful experience.
