What is the salary like at O'Reilly Auto Parts?

Great managers, good pay, good benefits, great culture.

Not very many holidays off, but the PTO is good

My coworkers, my customers, my store manager and always learning something new.

The biggest con about working for the company is the pay. The pay isn't a decent salary, it is not competitive with other companies in the same field.

Great coworkers, competitive pay and overall great company culture.

None that I can think of.

Don't pay you for your experience, overwork you without compensation to your pay (ie salary = no overtime pay), will wipe out your entire management team and watch you struggle to run your store open to close for 6 weeks and then fire you for making a mistake due to being severely overworked! Stole my livelihood and took my world out from under me!

The discounts are cool and the pay is decent especially in our area. The COMPANY is a great company for sure.

Maybe it was my experience in Florida but the management in Texas far exceeded expectations. Be wary because there are crappy managers that say they care but truly don’t.

A few good managers, but the higher ups above the departments don’t actually care about the people.

The pay is horrible and newer employees get paid more than someone who has worked there for years (they also have less experience).

Leadership, promote within, growth in any department

Long hours, no pay raises if your in management, nothing is ever good enough, a lot of stress for little pay, micromanagement.

Good discount on car parts, and it's a decent place for a first job. The commission on top of your hourly wage is also a nice perk

Starting pay isn’t great for the physically demanding work you sometimes do. They also sometimes hire managers without any prior car knowledge, and you may encounter some rude or even racist customers

Definitely a great place to work simple to learn new things, and to become a lot more knowledgeable in the automotive industry
