Puma has a great benefits package, paid holidays, sick time, quarterly allotment, great employee discount, and proper communication from the corporate level.

The company is more concerned with protecting their image than they are for the safety and security of their employees, Work life balance is sometimes non existent.

Salary is really not competitive - especially in comparison to the competition next door (adidas).

High turnover in most stores, inconsistent hours, overworked store management.

Great people, good culture, great benefits, great cantine. Many events, perks, gifts. Family orientation and flexibility.

Pay is not competitive and not inline with other direct german brands. Lack of risk taking and vision from top management. Commuting to Herzogenaurach from Nuremberg is really hard and company doesn't offer group transport, despite repeated feedback from employees.

Great work environment that provides you tools needed to feel supported whether that's through benefits or leadership modules. There is a reason they continue to be voted the best place to work.

Brand has a lot of rich history. Retail is not monolithic and being a global company they need to recognize the differences between each region.

The overall environment in the HQ is really good: there are a lot of young people, which helps in toning down the seriousness of a work environment. The Wellbeing and P&O departments take good care of proposing new and fun events/activities for employees. The everyday workload can be of highs and downs based on the period but there is little to no rush in getting tasks done, at least in my department. The company is also trying to make more and more big steps into sustainability and eco-friendly processes which might be of even more relevance in the future if actuated properly. The overall package of benefits (employee discount, events and in-house services, free gym access, social and economic helpings, PUMAPerks program, etc.) is really good and helps to add value to the working environment.

Pay could be a bit higher, or trying to be aligned more toward the country standards. I think a big step back was taken regarding WFH policies, returning to a 3/2 hybrid setup (even after it has been clear that the HQ has been suffering from a lack of office spaces, and more and more new employees are joining). I believe that by choosing a more open stance and giving complete freedom to the employees to decide when and where to work from outside the office, the company could take advantage of this and attract more potential candidates.
