      Pros

Power has an amazing work culture. Management & coworkers are all extremely supportive and there to help you grow.

      Cons

It’s full commission pay. You also sacrifice work-life balance as you are required to work Mon-Sat and are often in people’s homes until late at night.

      Pros

Great company culture Accessible management Potential to make lots of money Upward mobility Solid benefits and PTO.

      Cons

Lots of driving, you start out knocking doors (don’t apply thinking you start as a sales rep) to be promoted you have to hit difficult metrics for a set period of time, if you fall below expectations, they give you a few weeks to get your numbers right or you get terminated. Some days I would be driving 35 minutes to the office for a short meeting (hardly a meeting just cliche quotes and talking points to pump you up to knock on doors), then another hour driving to territory, then an hour home. Management will INSIST all territory is the same and you have equal opportunity everyday, but that’s just wrong. Even some mentors would clearly be upset with territory and zip codes but they would never admit to it. If you complain about territory, it’s highly frowned upon. Some days you’re in a shady neighborhood, the next you’re working in multi-million dollar gated communities getting yelled at by every homeowner. Script is solid, but you have to be pushy at every step of the way and force homeowners to take a free estimate. The sales rep then follows up on that appointment to hard sell the homeowner windows. (Only a fraction of the people you speak to actually need the work done). The sales reps don’t make any Money unless the homeowner signs a very expensive contract same day. This results in frustrated customers as seen in Powers google reviews. This job is good for a very special kind of person. You will be walking 8-15 miles every day knocking doors in all weather (except absolute pouring rain, or ice) in hopes that you find the one homeowner who genuinely wants an estimate. Be wary of this job through the interview, the interviewers job is to sell you as a candidate that this is the best job in the world. Unpredictable schedule and hours, management might change your day to day plans at 8am same day Hours are 11-7 or 10-6 (depending on daylight savings time) M-F, with every other Saturday 9-2pm. You are highly encouraged to pick up every Saturday shift though. In the interview, you will be told you have opportunities to work home shows and events, but those are very rare and typically only for a short weekend shift. Aside that, knocking doors daily.
