Far behind in technology. Limited technology resources. Manual processes. Recruiters and management will lie to you in the interview process and say “we prioritize work life balance and working from home.” Upper management is mainly composed of people from the NYC and Chicago office, so mobility only goes so far. They underpay compared to even regional firms.

everything, which completely overshadows the pros. - mediocrity is the norm - decisions are made without strategy - the time wasted on projects that bring in nothing for the company was absolutely wild to me - very little in the way of career path or growth - bad hires: tendency to hire inexperienced "leaders" - my team's leadership was incredibly toxic. hr was useless and allowed that culture to thrive on. - new hires leave, and the mediocre lifers stay dead end job and it shows in the awkward, burnt out, dead silence you hear on calls where everyone's cameras are off. then once you throw AI into the mix, it just adds a whole other layer of disconnect.

No projects leading to very poisonous kind of environment. Putting indirect pressure that provoke resignation. Team leads and Leadership needs serious introspection within themselves..

Flexible work arrangements, decent pay

Lack of direction and disorganised. Not sure why we have so many catch-up calls. A lot of admin work and clearing backlog, and somehow everything is urgent. Difficult to focus on the main tasks at hand... Disagree w the higher ups? Just agree it'll make life easier.

Very good work life balance

Nothing much to pinpoint really. Maybe that I had too many work from home assignments.
