What are perks and other benefits like at QVC?

      Pros

Laid back as far as supervision goes but this is literally the only pro

      Cons

Pay is absolutely terrible Room for advanced/raises- terrible- they make that clear during the interview. $15 an hr, .50 raise every 6 mo which caps out at 2 years - once you get an interview scheduled you basically have the job before they interview you. It's quite clear they just mass hire and they could care less about your worth. Have experience ? Doesn't matter- your experience and knowledge won't be considered. Interview process- terrible. She read a script of what she requires from me. You provide your own equipment, you are held to strict metrics and again ....$15 an hour (they do realize most call centers start around $18?) Orientation - the first video is all about how great their customer service is. If you're waiting to hear what the company can do for YOU ....forget it. It's clear you're just a number here to help them and in return they do nothing from you. PTO and sick? Lol well who knows because they don't feel it's worth even telling you about that. Literally my 3rd week in and still have no idea what my benefits are. You hear a quick message about perks when hired ....perks....but nothing about benefits.

      Pros

Company discount is great and benefits are granted on your first day of work.

      Cons

For me, not enough time in training to learn everything needed to assist customers.

Great work culture, but with long-term concerns.

      Pros

Great diverse work culture, generally positive atmosphere, mostly remote/hybrid, competitive pay, and benefits are pretty good. Working at a 24/7 TV studio is usually a lot fun with some very interesting challenges.

      Cons

Usual large-company problems are all still present (sometimes hard to distinguish yourself on a large team, e-mail corporate speak, etc.) but nowhere near as bad as other companies. Also some concerns about upper management and long-term financial viability of the company.

      Great pay

      Pros

Great pay and benefits and easy to move up in the company.

      Cons

The company can sometimes be a little unorganized.

      Very Disappointed

      Pros

Decent benefits and work related perks, employee shopping discounts.

      Cons

You are setup for failure you are scored for aht, attendance points, and upsells that cs should not even be responsible for when you get 0 attendance points you go up to some qvc people to get terminated. If you get placed on a level no matter what you will never be given the opportunity to advance, supervisors are babysitters, and you think you have it all down before being released from training and you so totally do not. They are a revolving door 50 employees out the door and 50 in training to really cause a mess with the customers! Company has completely lost sight of their customers and really don't care about them it's all about going over your average call times, putting every second in Verint and loosing attendance points. If your sick even with covid this place does not even accept doctors notes too bad! I really had high hopes for this job and it is ending up turning my stomach everyday with nerves wondering if I will have a job.

      Pros

The benefits are good, and the supervisors are as supportive as possible.

      Cons

Working conditions are not the best. If you reach a goal, you are punished by a higher goal the next week and then the write ups start until you are let go. Stow is lonely and the music is disgusting and offensive and you are NEVER, under ANY circumstances, allowed to stop the music or listen to anything else.

Its a great Place to work.
