What is working from home like at Sodexo?

      Sodexo reviews

International exposure but no career progression

      Business Outlook

      Pros

You will work with great professionals and have a lot of international exposure since you will report to the company HQ based in France and clients all over the world. Flexible working hours and option to work from home 3 times a week.

      Cons

Unfortunately people leave after a short period as the lack of career progression and salary review is very clear. This is frustrating for the employee who is willing to grow in the company, but also has a very clear negative impact on the daily routine and processes, since some teams are always changing.

      Pros

Salary Flexibility for work from home

      Cons

Disconnection between upper management and what people are actually doing. Major department changes with zero transparency, everything can change at the drop of a hat with no valid reason. Will act like they are listening to your concerns but not do anything about it. Benefits aren't really that good. Their severance policy does not include lower band salaried employees. If you get let go, you get nothing. HR was an absolute nightmare to work with, lack of communication, clear information about termination and other legal questions regarding termination.

      Pros

Good WFH flexibility Pretty decent benefits package

      Cons

Very poor communication from upper management to middle management. You have to constantly ask what you can do to help, and will get no feedback on your work regardless of how well it is done. No performance reviews either, despite both you and your manager getting reminder emails. You’ll get told that taking time off is ok, only for it to be held against you later. Employee turnover is also concerningly high, lots of staff there who have only been with the company for less than 3 years.

      Cons

The hours, away from home low paid compared to everyone else at the mine but if your strong headed and have a goal committed to it you shouldn't have to be in the mine for that long in and out always have a goal
