      Pros

Working at TaskUs, I can genuinely say that the company lives up to its motto of being "#RidiculouslyGood," and that's entirely due to its authentic "People First" culture. It’s more than just a slogan; it’s a foundational philosophy that makes employee wellness and professional development true operational priorities. This dedication to every teammate is why I believe TaskUs stands out as a top-tier employer in the industry. What truly confirms this culture for me is the incredible and often unique suite of benefits we receive. TaskUs’s commitment to holistic well-being is exceptional, particularly through the in-house Wellness & Resiliency (W+R) department. Knowing I have free access to round-the-clock psychological counseling, psychiatric services, and coaching—resources that are even extended to my household members—provides a huge peace of mind for managing stress and burnout. Financially, our package is comprehensive, covering major needs like extensive healthcare, life insurance, retirement/401(K) plans, performance bonuses, and the potential to participate in the employee stock purchase program. TaskUs also clearly values my work-life balance. I appreciate the support for life events, which includes generous paid time off (PTO), paid parental leave, and even a dedicated Birthday Leave. When I work on-site, the facilities are designed to be inspirational and useful, offering amenities like free meals, gym access, and game rooms. For me and my colleagues with families, the provision of on-site daycare services and lactation rooms is a game-changer. Finally, the investment in career growth through programs like The Academy provides tangible paths for upskilling, mentorship, and leadership development. It feels validating to work for a company that puts the frontline employee experience at the center of its model.

      Cons

I can't think of anything at the moment. The company is not perfect BUT the leaders (from CEO down) doing their best to live up to the "People First Culture" on a daily basis is already a win in itself.

If you need income in the short term, go for it.

      Pros

      * Hiring process is fast and simple. * Transportation and flexibility with medical leave. * While rare, some people were promoted within 6 months.

      Cons

      * Depending on the campaign and TL, you may experience micro-management. * When you are tenured, the workload and expectations increases while compensation remains the same.

      Pros

      Work from home options available

      Cons

      - Company doesn't care about you like they say they do. - Not flexible with schedule. - No pay raises greater than .25¢ - Will terminate you while on maternity leave. - After working here for 5 years, I received 2 pay raises of .16 cents each, 3rd raise I didn't receive because company was hacked and my profile was recreated from scratch and all of my old performance metrics were deleted so they refused to give me a raise. Was also on extended maternity leave due to medical illness and had proof from doctor and was let go. (Messed up, I know)

      Expectation VS Reality

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - The company offers free lunch every day. - Easy access if you're from nearby cities like Bacoor, Imus, and Dasma. - The facility is well-maintained and provides a comfortable working environment. - HR takes legal action for bullying and harassment; however, some managers discourage pushing issues to HR to avoid blame for problems within their cluster.

      Cons

      - The salary offered is relatively low compared to industry standards. - Management pushes agents to reach metrics targets, but the only bonus is 200 pesos, given infrequently. Unlike my previous telco account job, where hard work was fairly rewarded. - Many accounts are startup companies lacking a proper knowledge base, especially for launch campaigns. - Agents often get scolded for mistakes without having been provided with proper guidelines beforehand. - Numerous agents experience unpaid floating status for 2-4 weeks. - Promised auto-approved leave benefits are untrue. Monthly limits are enforced, especially for launch campaigns. - Career growth is very slow, with some teammates remaining agents for 5-8 years. - HMO was changed in May 2024, causing issues as the new HMO's customer service is hard to contact, leading to long waits for LOAs.
