Great Benefits, great opportunity to grow outside of the company
Cons
Unfair treatment to employees. Don't uphold whistleblower policies. Don't protect their employees

UCLA health has a very strong union who fights for our benefits so pay and other benefits are always protected. I also feel valued and like I’m paid appropriately for my efforts. I appreciate things like education leave of 40 hours for CE or conferences. And there are so many organizations you can join and special interest professional groups that can help anyone feel welcome.
Cons
Some of the managers can be cold and difficult but not often

We appreciate your review. We want our employees to have the best experience possible working at UCLA Health and your feedback is important in achieving that goal.
1) Takes good care of patients
2) Good communication from the immediate team
3) Good benefits and job security due to the Union
Cons
1) Very poorly managed. Will take on more and more studies without proper staffing.
2) Pay is not great. Can barely afford a single room down the street from the clinic.
3) Concerns go unnoticed and unaddressed. Silence is rewarded over bringing attention to issues.

Can only really speak for cath lab, but ripe with favoritism and retaliation from an abusive management. This is the fastest turn over deparment in the hospital i believe, they went through like 20 techs in the last few years. Numbers don't lie. Nuff said. Cons outweigh the pros.
