      Pros

      Profit sharing bonus is good, generally work with good people. Some leadership teams are very supportive and work with you to build skills for your career goals. Work/life balance is good. Once I clocked out for the day, I was done thinking about work and never forced to log on if I was off the clock.

      Cons

      No flexibility... anywhere. Strict dress code. Strict policies. No work from home flexibility even for short periods of time. Old, outdated systems. You will work incredibly hard for little recognition. They make it difficult to move around the company into new positions.

      Pros

      Great opportunities for growth within the company. The workplace is full of passionate people who strive to improve the company. Great job stability, tends to hold on to employees during times of economic distress. Clean work environment with benefits like a fitness center, corporate cafe, and well maintained walking paths on campus.

      Cons

      Strict employee dress code and personal cube guidelines. No flexible work from home options, strictly in office. High expectations can lead to burnout or high stress at work. No paternity leave options.

      -good food -I love my team -job stability -nice walking paths -good team lunches and outings -great mentorship and teaching experiences

      Cons

      -strict dress code and in-office behavioral policies -strict time-clocking (minimum 45-48 hr weekly average) -too traditional -no flexibility with work from home policies -sick days are counted in your PTO(which isn't amazing to begin with)

      No intention on innovating on current technology No intention on allowing any work from home or hybrid system No benefits to those that need to be on-call nor no training for those that are forced to be on-call Required to clock in and out as a salaried employee Diversity is really bad, mostly all just white males that work here.       Super weird environment. The owners push their far-right uber conservative views on their employees by offering political lunch learns from “our political advisor.” They even sent out a survey asking who everyone was voting for in the 2024 election, absolutely bizarre and inappropriate behavior. The environment is extremely sterile and cutthroat with crazy rules. The dress code is absolutely insane, especially for women. The tiniest things are nit picked for being out of code and they have people deemed the fashion police specifically to look people who aren’t matching the dress code (which isn’t even clearly specific in the first place). It feels like your back in high school when you get brought in to a room to be told your dress is 3 inches above the knee instead of 2. You’re only allowed 5 personal items at your desk. You’re reprimanded for being on your phone at your desk even if it’s just to respond to a quick text. There’s no WFH options or any flexibility with schedule regardless of inclement weather or necessary appointments (you will be required to take PTO which is only 16 days). No sick days. They preach “work-life” balance yet they force their employees to work in office every single day and at least 45 hours a week, a lot of employees are also asked to come in on Saturday's. Overall just a terrible culture and not a good place to work, I would avoid at all costs.

      I’ve been with the company for over 10 years as an IT Director, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding journey. What stands out most is the people – smart, dedicated, and always willing to support one another. The collaborative culture here makes even the most complex projects, enjoyable and fulfilling. The work itself is consistently interesting and challenging. It’s exciting to be part of a company that continues to grow and evolve in meaningful ways. Leadership genuinely values employee contributions and invest in both people and the business for the long-term. There’s a strong focus on professional development, and I’ve seen many colleagues grow into new roles and responsibilities over the years.

      The lack of flexible work arrangements can pose challenges, depending on your personal situation.

      The pay started off fine, however has not kept up with current market value. In many cases you will be ~20k under market value. Bonus is alright, but again can't compete with the market. Some of the people are great and exceptional, however their voice is often drowned out in the name of "Company Culture"

      There is no easy place to begin. First and foremost, when employees were attempting to leave Liz began applying legal pressure to companies hiring people to attempt to scare away any offers being extended. This happened between the legal team getting involved, letters being sent and phone calls being made to the leadership of new companies. This has happened more than once. MANY of the Glassdoor reviews are 'fake' reviews left by HR employees to make Uline seem like a healthy place to work. Please keep this in mind when browsing reviews that are listed on this website. When people are announcing they are leaving their managers will gaslight them and say things like "Work from home is career suicide", "You are just going to make less money and be miserable". This does not speak for all leadership however, some people are great and make wise decisions. Pay has been lagging behind average market value for quite some time. Making a job change with no job title change will often come with a 20k raise. Work from home is always a firm NO. It does not matter how sick you are or if your family is needing assistance or the roads are so dangerous with snow that there are dozens of car crashes on the way to work. Under no circumstances are you able to do the exact same job from home to prevent possible harm to yourself or others. Leadership will say they do not watch the time clock (yes, a salaried position where you punch in/out at a time clock every day). However this is a lie, there is a required 45 hour minimum to prevent your manager from breathing down your neck and a 47 hour minimum if you even are considering scoring higher than a 3 on your performance review and get a well deserving promotion. There is no paid leave for maternity / paternity. If you need to take bereavement you are limited to 3 days and it must be someone in your immediate family, meaning if your cousin passes you will have to take time off to grieve. Many teams are under heavy scrutiny enduring hour by hour micromanagement. In cubicles you are restricted to five personal items, but if these personal items do not follow the 'company image' you will be required to take it home (eg. small figurine, a picture frame with a cross on it) When senior leadership holds town halls and addresses questions that have been asked hard questions they will laugh it off "haha there's that work from home question again... moving on". There is more than enough evidence that employees are struggling to maintain enthusiasm for the culture they must maintain where it is truly baffling that there is questions as to why people leave in droves when a new opportunity arrives at a new company.

      - Office dress code is "strict" (no jeans, no tennis shoes; business coat/jacket is a must for women if they wear pants) - No WFH unless approved by higher-ups - No medical leave unless illness/accident is incapacitating (vacation days, PTOs, are used to stay home unther the wording of "at the discretion of the employee" if they are sick but the company doesn't think it's valid as medical leave)
