What is working from home like at dunnhumby?

Dunnhumby has a great empathy for employees. They offer flexibility to work from home to their employees. Overall, compensation and benefits are competitive. I guess the overall vibe is very employee-centric and stress-free.

• Office politics at its peak • Mandatory 3 days in-office policy without flexibility • In the last couple of months, several employees were terminated without notice, including some who had been with the company for over 14 years • No open referral hiring; only candidates with upper leadership references are considered • Favoritism and groupism create an unhealthy work culture • Excessive micromanagement at every level • Employees are not given the choice to work from home despite proven productivity • The company’s culture and employee care have significantly declined compared to 2–3 years ago . No internal promotions

- Some leaders lack structured problem-solving and change management skills, which leads to lots of busy work and the client not implementing our recommendations fast enough (if they even consider our recommendations) - Some leaders/managers are not experts in the frameworks the company uses to solve client problems, so they expect you to master concepts and frameworks that they don't even understand (you need to learn by yourself, without having any feedback along the way). - Benefits could be better (minimum legal vacation days, minimum legal paternity leave).
