I had a very good interview experience. My interviews were two rounds, one round with HR and one round with hiring manager. People I talked to were really nice. No hard questions were asked.

Question 1
Mostly technical questions and background questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 23andMe
Interview
Applied through a referral. Was interviewed 2 weeks later. This was my first technical interview, and I slept only 2 hours the night before out of nervousness - it did not go well. The questions were not too difficult, but my presentation was poor. It was incredibly disappointing, as I spent most of the interview reeling from exhaustion. I was also typing notes on my laptop as the interview was going on, which I think distracted the interviewer. Oops...
Make sure to sleep properly before your interviews! Also, do lots of mock interviews if you can.
It was an extensive interview about my studies and experience. The interviewer was nice, looking for specific details in my experience to be highlighted. Overall, not that difficult, but definitely be prepared to discuss what you know.
Long but engaging. Multiple interviews and a homework assignment. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly, but the HR person I was communicating with was extremely unresponsive and ignored 4 of my emails at multiple stages of the process.
