I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at 99 Cents Only (Studio City, CA) in Jul 2022
Interview
A little too laid back. Interviewer seemed friendly but indifferent. In the end he admitted he was told to do the interview and that they weren't actually hiring which was a complete lie.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were very few questions and mostly just the interviewer telling me about the company and asking me if I would be all right with all of these things
It was fairly easy. They only ask what you're availability looks like. Also ask if you have any cashiering experience but if you don't then that's okay. They don't really care for the other questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at 99 Cents Only (Riverside, CA) in Sep 2022
Interview
Only asked for availability and how soon I’d be able to work. Didn’t really ask much involving strengths and discussed how the process would work. Described training as soon as I got there.
