      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at A Place for Mom (New York, NY) in Nov 2019

      Interview

Gave 8 rounds of interviews. Starting from the recruiter, hiring manager, business analyst, and then with four different people(product manager, sem manager, data scientist, and financial analyst). Last round was with the CMO. The overall experience was exhausting and included really detailed and in-depth questions about the process deployed and analytics. The process reflected lack of synchronization. They got back with a final decision that they will need to hire a person who will oversee my position. They should have discussed and decided before wasting so much time of the candidate.

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at A Place for Mom (New York, NY) in Sep 2021

      Interview

The interview process began with a screening interview with HR and I interviewed with the woman who was leaving the role. I then had to meet with my direct manager, then his direct manager, and then the CMO Tatyana Zlotsky. My interviews up until the final one were cordial and thorough, but the one with Tatyana was rushed. It was apparent that she didn't have a lot to ask and when I was attempting to ask questions about the company, she ended the interview 15 minutes early claiming that HR had incorrectly scheduled her. I suspect it really was because I didn't answer her question satisfactorily. I was later told by my recruiter that the feedback was that my interview with her "didn't go well." My biggest pet peeve is that I had to go through a lot of rounds of interviews during my workdays, which were difficult to carve out time for, just to have my candidacy undone by a person who seemingly wasn't prepared to interview me and would have little bearing on the day-to-day operation of the position I was interviewing for. It left a bad taste in my mouth given the amount of time I invested in the process.
