I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ABB (Zürich) in Jan 2025
Interview
Friendly and deeply interested in interpersonal skills as it seemed they liked my technical background well enough. Definitely the gold standard in professionalism and response time. Went through two rounds with some technical scenarios concerning system design.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is a moment when you have to convince other colleagues of your idea? How did you approach the situation when they decided not to use it?
The interview process was good and professional, but the company discriminates based on your nationality when hiring you, and they tell you this (kind of) semi-directly. The interview process went very well, but due to nationality, contrary to the previous agreement for the final interview, they not only did not conduct the interview but also did not respond to follow-up emails, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful

Question 1
They asked about previous experiences, details of duties, team management skills, and some detailed questions about their experience with software and projects.
