I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ABB (Bengaluru) in Aug 2014
Interview
I emailed my CV and my cover letter to a higher up contact. He then forwarded me to my would-be mentor. Interview consisted of technical questions specific to my CV, which included questions about near field connectivity, broadly RFID. I explained my previous work in the field as well as my research paper, which seemed to impress the interviewer. I shortly got a confirmation call (within 2 days) and my offer letter nearly 2 weeks later.
