I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2017
Interview
Aldi was very transparent during the whole interview process that the internship and full time positions at the company was a lot of work, but was rewarding for those willing to put the work in. I applied after meeting a recruiter at a university career fair, and they invited us for a group dinner/informational session about the internship, had us take an online assessment to determine our values and work ethic, did individual interviews, and then took us to the regional headquarters to take a tour of the warehouse, stores, and offices and interviewed again with the regional VP and other company directors. They spent so much time with us to allow us to ask questions that the actual interview didn't seem as important as how engaged we were throughout the process.

Question 1
Do you understand the amount of work and responsibility that you have in this role/ are you prepared to work long hours and dedicate a lot of time and thought to this position?
It went really well! I was surprised by their professionalism. I was feeling a lot of stress before but everything was great. And the interviewer gave me a lot of important information and pointers. That was really helpful.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ALDI (University Heights, IA) in Oct 2022
Interview
This was a standard interview process. I was asked my strengths, weaknesses, etc. A big focal point was placed on how I respond to individuals or team members who are not motivated to work hard. I would assume this is because the role you are applying for is a leadership position.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview itself was pretty straight forward, normal behavioral interview. It felt like they already had decided who to hire before the interviews and just had them to confirm their decision.
