I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Sheffield, England) in Sep 2019
Interview
Very intense and rigorous but often more bothered and pressed about you as a person. They aren't too bothered about experience but want to see that you have ambitious and able to adapt and improve from the get-go
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI in Mar 2023
Interview
Interviewer was late. Very much a ‘fire loads of questions’ style of interview. Would help to put people at ease if you could get something back from the interviewer rather than a man sitting there with a completely blank face.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why Aldi What separates Aldi from other supermarkets
Group interview - went round talking about things as prompted by the interviewer. Had a short separate one on one interview post group, with a store manager. Was in the store itself (however in a back room)

Question 1
Tell us something about yourself that someone might not know from meeting you
It was a self recorded video interview and was great. You had to record yourself answering the questions they gave and then they would review it and see if you moved ahead into the recruitment process
