I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Burbank, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
They called me on the phone to do a brief preinterview, asked my week to week availability, told me about dress code etc. Then they asked me to come in for and person interview the next day. The first question she asked me was "Are you available to work on Holidays" to which I said yes, except for Christmas I have to go home across the country. She then told me I would not be a good fit because I need to have open availability around the holidays. I understand this policy, but they could have at least mentioned it on the phone so I didn't waste my time going in for the interview.
Very easy Managers are very friendly, felt like a nice conversation. A few questions maximum and the process is very smooth. More about leadership and understanding the position. Then they talk to you about availability and any time off needed.
