The interview was great with the two women I met with via zoom. It was about an hour. It went so well and i don’t think iv ever been that certain I was getting an offer that afternoon or tomorrow. It went over our originally schedule time. I was asking for more than what the job was listed for in terms of pay and that’s when they were hesitant but said they are able to speak with higher up because it’s worth it for what I bring to the table. They stated multiple times I would hear from them this week. Then I never heard back, I followed up via email to BOTH women who originally emailed me about the job, this was 3 days after I interviewed and got not response, never got a follow up either. I waited about another week because I figured they are very busy and have so many interviewers so I sent another follow up and never even got a response saying the position was filled or anything. It was very unprofessional and iv worked in healthcare for a decade and yes it can take a few weeks to a month for the hiring managers to get the ball rolling but they always send a follow up email after an interview or at least respond with an email stating they were still working on the decision or that they were going to pursue another candidate, instead just ghosted me after all that and waste my time and theirs it made me glad I didn’t get the job because no one even had the decency to even send an email back when it is a remote company and all we do as remote workers is sit at our desk all day on our emails, phones, teams/ slacks etc.
