    Account Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Milwaukee, WI
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ARI Network Services (Milwaukee, WI).

    Interview

Headhunted by a member of the Milwaukee talent staff. Didn't feel particularly welcomed or felt like the interviewer cared about what I had to say. Talked about how 'green,' I was and that my experience may not be enough (despite being over the age of 25, BBA, and having the requirements for the job listed). Had a very standard interview with typical questions one would expect. Couldn't help but feel my younger appearance immediately affected the interviewer when I walked in the door.

Wasted a day of PTO, travel expenses, and hours of my time going for an interview. I will never let another recruiter sell me on a role 'they think you'd be perfect for.'

    Operations Specialist Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Cookeville, TN

    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ARI Network Services (Cookeville, TN) in January 2016.

    Interview

The phone interview was very friendly and inquisitive. It felt more like a conversation with an career adviser than an interview.
The local interview was very fast-paced, and direct, but it was one of the more professional interviews I've ever had.
The follow-up process took some time. I believe there were two weeks between my second interview and the call-back.

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at ARI Network Services (Cookeville, TN) in July 2015.

    Interview

It took about two and a half months total to interview and be hired. I ended up having two interviews one in person and a phone interview with another team member. The first interview was with two team members and lasted about an hour, they had a lot of questions for me. The other interview was over the phone and last about twenty minutes and wasn’t as in-depth question wise, it was more information based. The waiting was the hardest part!

    Software Engineer III Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Cypress, CA
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ARI Network Services (Cypress, CA) in April 2015.

    Interview

They had a unique job posting on line which grabbed my attention. It started the whole process off on a more personal touch than a technical recruiter selling the position. I received an initial phone call then a 1 on 1 in person interview. The day after the 1 on 1 I was given a job offer. I took a week to wind down the job search process and decided to go with ARI instead of the other three offers. It was the closest to my house, had an acceptable salary offer and the team seemed like one that I would fit in with. It was not the highest offer and from what I found out is not the quickest to get people into seats. I was shocked to find out I had to wait two weeks to start working after accepting the position. For a software developer this is not normal. Due to how hard it is to find developers the developer usually starts the day after accepting.

    Interview Questions

    • They asked me what book I have read recently and what my option on it was.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I did not negotiate the salary, it was at an acceptable level. This is not a company to join if your primary objective is to get as much money as you can.

Great. Fast, friendly, and as painless as such a thing could be. Interviews were scheduled quickly, I received an offer the same day or the day after my final interview, and I was working on Monday the week after. Extremely well orchestrated. No complaints whatsoever.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at ARI Network Services (Duluth, MN) in January 2015.

    Interview

Interviewed with three of the key web development people. The interview had a very calm, fun atmosphere, I enjoyed speaking with them and they all had colorful personalities that meshed well with one-another. Definitely felt like I was interviewing to be in a family rather than being interviewed for a mere job.

    Inside Sales/E-Catalog Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    Declined Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ARI Network Services in December 2014.

    Interview

The entire process was great! Very timely, straightforward and low pressure. They are very big on culture and finding the right fit for the company. One of the best groups I have had the pleasure of interviewing with! Would have loved working with all of them. They are very focused on innovation, moving forward and the success of their employees and providing the tools to do so. I initially did a phone screen with HR, then met with a panel for two in person interviews. I was offered the position the same day as my second interview. Everyone was easy to talk to and they answered all of the questions I had regarding the company. Everyone was very enthusiastic about their jobs and the company as a whole, something you don't see very often. Overall a great experience!

    Interview Questions

    • Name 3 steps I would take initially to become successful in my position   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

Unfortunately I had to decline due to the start time, there was some flexibility offered, but the timing wasn't right. I would love the opportunity to speak with them again in the future should another opportunity become available.
