After an initial screening call with a recruiter, I was scheduled for a series of calls with members of the management team to whom I would report if hired. With the successful completion of each call, the subsequent call would be completed with the next higher level manager and culminated with a discussion with a corporate-level VP responsible for my areas of work. Following all of these calls with management and a consensus of opinions that I was suitable for the position, a follow-up call was confirmed with an HR representative who offered to answer any remaining questions about the company, my potential responsibilities and the salary and bonus structure.
