Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at AbbVie (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Process was expedited quickly. From initial phone interview to first face to face took less than 2 weeks to schedule. Had some confusion with HR on the scheduling the day before the face to face interviews, but nothing that wasn't resolved quickly. Overall it was a positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a challenging situation that required you to use your leadership skills to come to a solution...
9 rounds of interviews during a 90 day period with no offer. The process was hectic because the talent acquisition manager who started the process got laid off, so half way thru it, it went silent. Then a new talent acquisition took over. They kept adding interviews after telling me it was the last one. I received an email saying I didn’t get the job. No phone call from anyone. I reached out via phone and email to get feedback, I didn’t receive any. Surprising when you are that invested in the process. Not a good look, I was expecting better from a Fortune 500 company.
