I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AbbVie in Jan 2025
Interview
Pretty straightforward. First recruiters reaches out and then if they like you, you interview with the hiring manager and then panel interviews. The decision making takes forever and if you aren't the selected candidate, they will just ghost you. Even if you email them, they will not respond. No courtesy email or rejection email whatsoever. Very unprofessional.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Abbvie and what interested you in this role?
HR reaches out to asking to schedule a interview. Unfortunately they do not do their homework and call to ask you some basic questions around sponsorship which you already answered in the application only to tell you that they do not provide that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AbbVie in Aug 2025
Interview
Conversation with Recruiter, followed by conversation with hiring manager to explain the role and talk about my background, followed by panel interview consisting of four, 30-minute conversations.
After completing panel interviews and following up with the recruiter two weeks later, I received no response. This lack of communication is both disappointing and unprofessional. Candidates should be aware that this may reflect how the organization treats its applicants.
I applied online. I interviewed at AbbVie (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The recruiter was friendly and wanted to know my desires in my next role and focused on my previous experience. She said she would get back to me in a few days on next steps and ghosted. Never heard from them again.
