    Business Development Director Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Bellevue, WA
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accelalpha (Bellevue, WA) in February 2018.

    Interview

First, a great 30min call with the HR Manager. We could review my experience, goals, compensation, references, and skills. However, the face-to-face meeting with the CEO was a complete disaster. Instead of taking from where I left with HR, he brought his computer with my linkedin profile opened and made very basic and repetitive questions. A lot of them, non stop, for 50min. It was not an interview, but an interrogatory. When I asked for the opportunity to make a few questions, the CEO laughed, sarcastically. He also confessed that they don't have thought about the compensation for this position. The next step would be another interview with the practice leader that is not generating new sales, and it was not clear if that would be the last one. Last but not least, they are not looking for a sales executive, but an alliance manager to handle their relationship with Oracle.
