I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Accenture in Oct 2012
Interview
I was hired through Campus recruitment drive- where mostly Accenture hired ~100 or more students. Not very difficult to crack interviews. There were 3 rounds - Aptitude Test, Technical and Personal interviews.
Day 1 was Aptitude test was computer based, objectives. No negative marks of course. Result was later announced by end of the day for those who qualified.
Day 2 were interviews, Technical round was one to one. Mostly questions related to your final semester subjects - SDLC, Application Layers, etc (I was from CSE branch). Can be called stress interview but key is to remain confident even if you are not aware of answer, simply say you cant recall. :) Took approximately 20-30 mins.
Personal Interview for me was three to one. Very relaxed and friendly environment, asked about hobbies and future plans. Why you want to join Accenture- to which you can share your strengths etc. It took about 15-20 mins, not more. Again key is to be confident.
It was very structured. It consisted of 1 round. The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and then asked questions on my resume. They are basically looking for candidates to walk through their resume. They didn't ask any question apart from the resume
The process was 1 online assessment and 1 group interview with 3 panelists. They asked both technical and soft skills questions. Each interviewer asked different questions. The total interview was less than 30 mins.
Interview was nice but it was much technical heavy and the interviewer had asked both the technical and HR related questions and also some general knowledge and current affairs questions.
