I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aderant in Sep 2023
Interview
The first stage was a 30-minute interview with the hiring manager. Standard interview questions and a good chance to learn more about the job. The second stage is an old-fashioned style assessment. You may have done these 10/15 years ago. Two-part online assessment. The first assessment is fast-paced, with 15 seconds to answer each question. The second assessment is not times and is based on your personality traits. The online assessment is redundant and has nothing to do with the job role you will be doing. I did not pass the assessment stage. These assessments are not hard if you do some practice beforehand. However, if you have not done one of these for years, then you may struggle. This interview style is extremely old-fashioned and will discourage a lot of talent. Many years of experience and a good degree are just ignored if you do not pass the assessment.

Question 1
Why do you want to work here? Online assessments require basic GCSE maths. For example, decrease £120 by 25% etc.
I applied online, and was contacted the next day for an interview with the recruiter. The recruiter passed me to the next level for an interview with the hiring manager. I did not hear back after my interview with the hiring manager for over a month to let me know that they were not moving forward with my candidacy for the position (at this point I had already assumed that they weren't moving forward so the perfunctory call was super unnecessary and almost weird).
Overall the interviews themselves were very softball and easy, but the communication was lacking. If you know you're not planning on proceeding with someone then let them know quickly.
