Phone interview With recruiter 20 min. Assessment consisting of vocabulary Prior to in person interview you have to complete a writing assignment of 6 questions - 30 to 45 min. “Do you consider yourself lucky”? Arrived early, no one to greet me, someone walked by and asked if I was there to see someone? Gave me a weird or dirty look. Not very welcoming. In person interview 30 minutes, 2 Managers. Feedback from recruiter stated they considered me a good candidate, but I honestly felt discouraged. They asked me what percentage of calls do I think a rep can recruit? That is tough as there is nothing in research that answers that and they should disclose it rather than put you on the spot. They asked “Why do you think “ABC Co” didn’t hire you? First off, how do they even know I applied to this co. Made up name, ABC is not the co. I feel it was unfair for them to assume. Just because they experienced turnover from employees coming from a particular co., doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be a great candidate. I have several years of sales experience, not sure what else they are looking for!

Very upbeat and positive. The red carpet is rolled out. The interview's purpose is to screen out candidates as you sit and watch a recruiter on the phone for the greater part of the interview meeting. The 'interview' portion, meeting with leadership and dialoguing is about 30 minutes.
- Why do you want to work at Advanced?

The interview process included a phone interview that took 30-45 minutes, followed by a writing assessment, personality test and then a final in-person interview and tour. The entire process took up about 3-4 hours of my time just to have them tell me they wouldn't be extending me an offer because I didn't have enough prior recruiting experience. If they had actually read my resume, they would've realized I have 0 prior experience recruiting and had mostly just worked in sales previously. Total waste of my time.
- Name a time you faced resistance and how did you handle it?

Pre-screened with a recruiter. She was very nice and informative. Was asked to come in for a second round interview. I was interviewed by 2 of the managers from the different divisions. The questions they asked included my experience, comfort level with sales calls and multiple scenario based questions regarding the position. I felt informed about the job and am excited to start. I also was able to shadow a recruiter which was nice to see their computer.

The phone interview from corporate was normal and professional. However, the 1:1 was the most unusual interview I have ever been through. The entire office was filled with what seemed millennials, which was nice at first but then I witnessed an employee cussing and lacking professionalism which made the office seem doubtful. The interview itself was lacking professionalism. Examples of some of the interview questions were: 1) If you were to choose what music to play in the office, what type of music would that be? 2) You see we have games around the office, what game/activity would you like to see added in the office? 3) We like to do a lot of events if you were to be in charge of event planning, what type of event would you like to have? None of my interview questions were about my professional skills and experience. It was bizarre.

It was easy and I was able to get a job quickly and start traveling right away. I don't have much else to say about it. I just have to meet this 30 word minimum.

Quick and straight-forward. Interviewer wanted to know my skills and qualifications. Posed hyptoheticals and asked about experience. Would have been an amazingly great fit had I not lived in Indiana with a plan to relocate.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Advanced Medical (Broomfield, CO) in Oct 2016
I was contacted by a corporate recruiter, at the Broomfield office, who found my resume on indeed.com I had a brief phone interview and then scheduled an in-person interview shortly after. My in-person interview was with my current manager while I also shadowing with a senior recruiter to see what the every-day job demands were like. My manager discussed my interview with the corporate recruiter and I was offered the job on the spot. However, this was over a year ago, so the interview process has definitely changed since then.

Phone interview. I applied online and received a call within a few business days from a corporate recruiter. I was asked a few questions and we discussed the position, benefits, compensation, and my work experience as it related to the position. I was then brought in for a face to face interview with the Director of Recruitment. During the interview it was much of the same as the phone interview, but I was also allowed to speak with a senior recruiter, who left during my time there.

I interviewed with someone over the phone first and then I did a Skype call with the hiring director and one of the mentors from the Florida office. It was a good interview and I felt comfortable with the two people I interviewed with along with the phone screen as well.
