I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aerotek (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Interview was very detailed but brief. Professional meeting and information about the company and what they do was very informative. The company was also very up front with what they had to offer salary wise and highlighted on the benefits offered to employees. I think that is a great thing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Ask what my back round of work had been involving customer service.
Asked what I was looking for out of a company long term etc.
Wanted to know what is the ideal work environment for me per say.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (San Francisco, CA) in May 2019
Interview
From applying to the actual in person interview, the process took almost 4 weeks. The recruiter did a mediocre job at the 1:24 communication rule that Aerotek has in place. This rule states that all communications need to be responded to within the hour and follow ups within 24 hours. It took DAYS for the recruiter to respond to my emails to schedule a phone screen. I had to pick up the phone and call her because she did not think to call me after us missing each other's emails multiple times. Phone Screen with recruiter was fast and I immediately got an onsite interview with DBO. Next was a 4 hour shadow with the potential team. They shared ALOT of information on daily tasks.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Aerotek
Interview
The interview process is very long. The first part is a phone screen with somebody from another office, next is a person to person interview, third is a behavioral interview and lastly is a shadow day with the office. At the end of your shadow day everyone in the office who met with you will meet up and discuss pros and cons and vote as to whether to hire you. 90 percent of the questions are behavioral and star questions. Also be sure to bring a notepad for your shadow day so you can jot down everything you learn. Most of it will not make sense in the beginning but it shows then that you are listening. If you want a job with Aerotek you must be patient. The process can take up to 2 months!
