I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aflac (Norwalk, CT) in May 2016
Interview
I was contacted by an Aflac recruter. Few emails and a short phone interview. Few days later a personal interview with the Regional Manager. Four candidates at the same time, short presentation with a few interactive topics. It was fun, but I was not really interested in the sales part.
They should clarify from the beginning that this is a Sales only and commission only position!
Group interview for the first one. It’s 100% commission based but if you know your capabilities then I recommend going for it! If you are a self-starter, this is definitely for you.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aflac (Knoxville, TN) in Aug 2025
Interview
Pretty easy, they seem to take everyone. The office is set up a little strangely with Aflac decorations everywhere. They do a group interview first which is a big tipoff, then you will likely be invited back for a one on one.

Question 1
They asked about any previous sales experience I had.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aflac (Yorktown, VA) in Oct 2024
Interview
There is a Virtual group setting with up to 20 candidates and cameras are mandatory. You must look at a presentation on video and theres a host that sums up the company background and position. Then you ask questions after about 20 minutes.
