I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Columbia, MD) in Mar 2017
Interview
I got in touch with them at a career fair at my school. They then proceeded to call me and ask me to come in for an interview. I came in and they sat me down, but came in after 30 minutes because they were interviewing another person. Then, the manager came in and interviewed me and it was pretty easy for someone who has never interviewed before. They talked about what I would be doing as an intern. Then they started to talk about how I would make cold calls and have to buy an insurance license.

Interview
It was friendly not too stressful, easy to talk to. Make me less nervous which is amazing. The whole process is smooth. Knew more about the team and the structure
Very straightforward and easy. Had one interview and was hired. They just want to know who you are as a person. No prior experience in sales is needed. It is unpaid but if you make a sale you get 40% of the commission which is huge!
After the initial first round of interviews, it took over two months for a response from the interview process. Perhaps I wasn't as good as I thought . Still, a timely response would have been courteous.
