I applied for a full-stack position in the Netherlands, and it was a really bad experience. First off, like many consulting companies, this one doesn't sign a contract with you upfront. You have to go through a tough interview process with the client, and if you land the project, then they sign the contract with you.
Throughout all the interviews, they don’t really care about you; they just want to know what the client asked you so they can share your experience with other developers to help them land the project from the client. It feels like they're taking advantage of you.
After the project manager in the Netherlands is done working with you and you no longer bring them any value, they just leave you hanging, and you don’t hear from them again. It’s really unprofessional behavior.
There’s no support or special perks in the offer, and the salary they offer is really low. I’d recommend staying unemployed rather than sending your resume to this company.
