    Customer Service Assistant Interview

    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Ageas (Bournemouth, England (UK)) in November 2017.

    Interview

There was a phone interview first, consisting of questions such as "Why did you decide to apply for Ageas" or "What do you know about this company" and "What do you expect to be doing in a Customer Service Assistant position". After that, I was informed by email that I was successful in my phone interview and invited to a face-to-face one at the company's offices. The people there were very friendly, first they got us (a team of 4 interviewees) to watch a slideshow about the company, its structure, goals, and benefits, and then we went for a tour of the call center, and sat to listen to some calls, while one of us was being interviewed in another room, for about half an hour.

    Graduate Scheme Interview

Anonymous Employee in Southampton, England (UK)
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ageas (Southampton, England (UK)) in April 2015.

    Interview

Once you have had an interview with the third-party resourcing team (brush up on anything you might know about the insurance industry) you get invited to the assessment centre (this can be long after your initial interview). It's a three-part process involving a case-study where you have to demonstrate your business acumen, a fact-finding exercise where you have to demonstrate your ability to be curious and ask all the right questions before reaching an answer and an individual interview with your would-be manager (or someone of a similar role). Having been to a lot of grad assessment centres I can say this was by far one of the better ones. The guys really make you feel comfortable and even if you're quieter by nature, what you say is really heard and they being loud or saying things for the sake of it really won't get you very far. Be bold, ask questions and talk about the materials they give you.

    Interview Questions

    • What do you know about the insurance industry and Ageas?   Answer Question

    Accountant Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Eastleigh, England (UK)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Ageas (Eastleigh, England (UK)) in February 2015.

    Interview

An informal interview, followed by two SHL tests. The interview itself was okay, but the SHL process was poor - the tests were not sent by the time they were due to be completed, and when I eventually got them, they did not work on any modern computer. We had to spend over 1 hour putting on older processing packages. This left very little preparation time.
