I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview process was intense and competitive. All of your fellow interviewees are essentially demonstrating they're ability to socialize and sus out the competition.-Don't be syked out by people with previous flight attendant experience; they have their own set of obstacles to face during the process. The interviewers seemed to like genuine, down to earth, warm, but decisive candidates. "Know it alls" will not get selected. Being a previous flight attendant is cool and everything but if you demonstrate overbearing qualities or very passive qualities like I observed in candidates during my group interview you will not be selected. Be yourself but most importantly make sure your energy demonstrates you really want the job and are serious about the opportunity. Posture, aura, and dialogue need to be polished.

I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
