Tha HR is not good here, they do not do the due diligence of expected CTC feasibility before starting the interview process and they assume we would accept the CTC they give as the final figure after all the interview rounds. This is such a waste of time for all people involved. If expected CTC that was told initially cannot be matched or not feasible, you should say the same to the candidate and not begin the interview process at all. Thankfully I declined the final figure that was offered and did not join this company. I can imagine how bad the HR and other process would be after joining the company.
