Overall positive experience. I had 1 telephonic taped interview and 2 in person. I was only interviewed by one person. The atmosphere was formal, but friendly. The interview was focused on past experience in the field.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Yonkers, NY) in Jun 2017
Interview
Applied online, got an email a few days later stating they want to schedule an interview. Went to the interview one week later, met with two lead counsel attorneys. They were friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my employment history, reasons why I left my previous positions. Asked if I liked the work I do, do I plan on going to law school. What case load am I used to. At the end of the interview they switched to the STAR method questioning, which they made clear were questions from corporate and had to ask them, but honestly they didn't really care for the questions or my answers. They found out what they really wanted about me through their own questioning.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2011
Interview
I applied online and was contacted right away asking for a telephone interview. That was scheduled within 2 days and I was invited to interview at the Seattle SCO office the following week. I was interviewed by Lead Counsel and a Paralegal that lasted about an hour, however, gave me the opportunity to detail my previous experience and how it would be an asset to their office.
