      Technical Support Interview

      Jan 31, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Makati City
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Alorica (Makati City) in Jan 2013

      Interview

Steps of the Interview : 1. Submission of Resume/CV - applicants should first submit their resume to the HR and wait in the lobby for their names to be called. 2. Initial Interview - once called, you will be asked to enter a room where you will be first interviewed. The first question would be telling something about yourself as what other interviewers really do. After that, you will then be asked questions based on what you have said about yourself and on your resume. 3. Online Exam - if you passed the initial interview, you will be entering a room with computers and with other applicants, you will take an online exam to be conducted by the test administrator. They are using a software and includes many type of the test but only five are given. Most of the test are audio file. Two are listening to a sample call and you will have to choose the best answer to the call from a multiple choice. The first is testing your customer service skills while the other one is testing your technical supporting skills. Another part of the test is Spelling. You will just have to type the word you will hear. The next one is the Data Entry. You will hear a voice providing information and you have to accurately type the given data in the corresponding space provided. Next part of the test is the an English test where you have to choose the best answer from a multiple choice. This will test your grammar, vocabulary and how much you are good in English. The last test is the typing test. You will just have to type the given paragraph as fast as you can until the timer stops. However, you can choose what test you want to start with first, but you have to finish all of these. 4. English Assessment - once you'd passed the previous process, you will then again asked to enter the same room and take the English assessment to be conducted by a Test Administrator. You will be dialing a number and then you will hear a voice that will told you the steps of the assessment. This includes repeating the words he have said, making a complete sentence with the shuffle words you will hear, answering questions he have asked and retelling a stories you have listened to. 5. Final Interview - If you're done with the previous steps, then you are at the final interview to be conducted by a Production Representative. You will be asked to tell something about yourself just like in the initial interview. Then you will be asked a situation depending on the account or position where you'd been endorsed to after passing the previous assessments. For example, you are endorsed to the technical support position, the interviewer will ask you like she was the caller in need. She said that she doesn't know how to get connected to the internet. Then, you have to give instructions for him/her. If the interviewer is satisfied on how you instruct, then you will probably offered the job.
